The Journey to us from Bergerac airport
From the airport approach road turn left at the junction onto the N21. Take the next left signed D14E2, pass by Saint Aubin de Lanquais. After 6.5km take the D25, pass by Naussannes. Continue along D25 for 2km take D660 pass by Beaumont du Perigord. Continue along D660 for 51km, pass through Frayssinet le Gelat and Goujounac. On the bend turn right D172 signed for Prayssac. Continue along D172 5km pass Niaudon sign, Château Alvina on the right, we are about 150 meters on the left.
The alternative route is turn left at the junction onto the N21 follow the signs to Villenueve-sur-Lot. Stay on the by-pass when passing the town and look for the D911 on your left signed for Cahors. Continue on this road and follow signs for Fumel, by-pass Fumel, pass through Duravel and Puy-l’Eveque. Continue on to Prayssac. At Prayssac turn left at Church and follow road out of the town D67 after about 2km turn right D172 for Goujounac. After 1.5km pass Niaudon sign we are about 200 meters on the right.
Terms and Conditions
This is a contract between the property owner's, Mark and Fiona Vallance ("the Owners") and those adults stated on the booking form ("the Client")
1. By booking and paying a deposit for accomodation the Client agrees to the Terms and Conditions.
2. The rental period will start from 15.00 on the day of arrival until 10.00 on the day of departure.We cannot be held responsible for change of Travel arrangements at short notice.If you have a long delay or cancelled flight etc please inform us as soon as possible.
3. Please note that we are unable to accept Credit cards for rental payments at La Maison Rose.
4. To reserve accomodation we will require a 30% deposit 14 days prior to your arrival. With the exception of the months of June, July, August and September when we will require a 40% deposit 21 days prior to your arrival. You will be sent an invoice which will be our acceptance of the booking. Deposits may be by French or British Cheques. For other E.U and Non E.U countries please contact us directly for alternative deposit payment.
5. The number of people sharing a room must not exceed those at the time of booking without prior written agreement with the Owners.
6. Should you need to cancel your accommodation we will require the minimum of 14 days written notice. You will not be entitled to the refund of your deposit. Written cancellation received more than 14 days in advance will receive a full refund of any deposit paid minus administration cost. We strongly advise that you arrange personal comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking accomodation.
7. Please inform us of any breakage or damage to furniture and equipment both for your own safety and comfort and others who stay with us. The owner reserves the right to make a charge should the property be left in an unacceptable condition or room contents missing. These costs must be settled before departure.
8. All bath and pool side towels are provided free for the use by guest during their stay. Please note that towels are not to be taken off the property.
9. Under no circumstances shall the Owners liabilty to the client exceed the amount paid to the owner for the rental period.
10. The Owners shall not be liable to the Client for any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of public services to the Property, nor in respect of any equipment, plant, machinery or appliance in the Property nor for any loss, damage or injury which is the result of adverse weather conditions, riot, war, strikes or other matters beyond the control of the Owners.
11. Pets are not permitted.
12. SMOKING - is strictly forbidden inside the Property.
13. Insurance: By booking a holiday at the Property you are confirming that you will start your journey with suitable holiday insurance covering medical care.
14. A cot suitable for an infant can be provided free of charge, if requested at the time of making a booking.
15. In accordance with the new French regulations introduced in 2004, the swimming pool at the Property is equipped with an approved alarm system. This system will be tested by the Owners at the start of the rental period. The system will detect movement in the water, such as may be caused by a child falling into the pool and sounds an alarm which is audible throughout the house and grounds. The alarm may be temporarily disabled for normal use of the pool, but must only be disabled by a responsible adult and must be reset after use. In making a booking the Client accepts that they are fully responsible for the safety of children using the pool and that children will be supervised at all times. This is a legal requirement in France, irrespective of whether or not the children are capable swimmers.
