La Maison Rose is a former Tobacco Farm House over 150 years old and set in the quiet and peaceful hamlet of Niaudon, yet only a short distance from the picturesque market Town of Prayssac. Our comfortable and spacious Traditional French Farm house is set in over 15 acres of pasture and woodlands.
Situated in the heart of the Cahors wine growing region, we are surrounded by vineyards and fantastic open countryside. Cahors, the capital of the Lot, is some 32kms to the East, with its varied shops, cafes and history. Prayssac is a delightful small Country Town with its busy Market each Friday, shops, cafes, restaurants, banks and sports centre.
Your hosts Mark and Fiona invite you to come and spend some time at their lovely home - relax by the 10 x 5 metre swimming pool with its ample terrace area, sun loungers and parasols. Pool towels are provided free to guests. Or for the more energetic trek over our fields and woods to visit the Prehistoric "Dolmens". This region has a vast array of wild flowers, butterflies and animals, including deer, stone marten, wild boar, red squirrels, rabbits, hares, buzzards, red kites, barn owls and a lot more. If you are keen on fishing a day licence can be obtained to fish in the Lot.

For those with a special anniversary to celebrate and honeymooners we have five day breaks throughout the year, this is based on a double bedroom with en-suite, continental breakfast and our complimentary bottle of Champagne. All subject to room availabilty at the time of booking.
